The Future of Farm-to-Table Food

The Future of Farm-to-Table Food is coming to the Iron Range of Minnesota through the innovation and hard work of four Native Women from Lake Vermilion!

Harvest Nation

Harvest Nation is an indoor, aeroponic farm planned for startup operations in Summer 2019. Help us bring Fresh, Quality, Heirloom, Non-GMO Vegetables and Fruits, locally grown year-round to the Northland.

Our Design

Our design is unprecedented. While other aero and hydroponic growers focus on the leafy greens market, our multilevel system is synced to the diverse needs, spatial requirements and schedules of over 40+ different crops to ensure cost effective production.

Looking Forward

Once in full operation, we’ll sell annual subscriptions for weekly boxes of tasty, day-to-day and specialty produce items.

  • No additives
  • No alterations
  • Non-GMO

We wanted access to affordable, fresh, niche, tasty produce, and we know our neighbors want it too. We are developing a pilot farming program to serve Minnesota’s northland towns of Tower, Cook, Ely, Orr, Virginia, Eveleth, and in the Bois Forte tribal communities on the Nett Lake and Vermilion Reservations. This Spring 2019, we are gathering input from local residents, chefs, restaurant owners, food partners, and health professionals to help us design our pilot farm to best meet the community’s wants and needs. Depending on the feedback, our pilot may accommodate 2 and 4 person households, and/or public institutions to serve our friends and families at schools, restaurants, or hospitals.
